BIOGRAPHY

Grace Marie Wyatt is a graduate of Royal Academy Opera where she was awarded the Tom Hammond Opera Prize, the Dorothy Pattinson Prize and the Foundation Prize for all round contribution and achievement. She is an alumna of the Georg Solti Accademia, and in 2019 graduated Royal Academy of Music with a DipRAM Distinction as well as the Alumni Development Award for an outstanding Master of Arts final recital.

Grace recently covered the role of Miss Schlesen in Philip Glass’s Satyagraha with English National Opera.

She is thrilled to be part of British Youth Opera's production of Vaughan Williams 'Sir John in Love' this August, performing the role of Anne Page at Opera Holland Park.

Previous operatic roles include Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Despina in Mozart's Così Fan Tutte, Tytania in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, L'Ensoleillad in Massenet’s Chérubin and Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. In March 2020, she was due to perform Miss Wordsworth in Britten’s Albert Herring which was cancelled due to Covid-19.

Grace's opera scene performances include Adele Die Fledermaus, Adina L'Elisir Damore, Frasquita Carmen, Giulietta I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Gretel Hänsel und Gretel, Juliette Romeo et Juliette and Musetta La Bohème.

In September 2020, she was a guest soloist for the Solti Peretti Repetiteur Course in Venice, where she performed the role of Despina at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.

During her studies, Grace took part in the Cardiff Singer of the World Masterclass with Sumi-Jo and Jamie Barton, performed for Carlos Acostas and the English National Ballet Tour at The Welsh Millennium Centre and played the role of Li in Welsh National Opera’s production of Peter Maxwell Davies' Kommilitonen.


She has performed in masterclasses with Barbara Frittoli, Brindley Sherratt, Dame Felicity Lott, Grace Bumbry, Helmut Deutsch, Kiri Te Kanawa, Lucy Crowe and Susan Bullock.​
